- In August 2022, UWCK launched Laundry Love. The mission of Laundry Love is to wash the clothes and bedding of low/no income families and individuals. Laundry Love exists to help prevent physical and emotional strain that poor health and hygiene places on the under-resourced in our community. Laundry Love will be on the third Saturday of the month from 10:00-2:00 at Discount Laundry on Jefferson St in Great Bend and in Larned on the last Wednesday of each month from 3:00-5:00 at Santa Fe Laundromat.
