Board President

Marmie Auto Group

"I Live United because it’s about people. The families we help with basic needs, children who receive books and who learn the importance of reading and Seniors who have volunteers check on them simply by delivering a noon meal.  Being a part of United Way of Central Kansas is more than just a good feeling when our events are successful but it is knowing that friends, neighbors and others in our community benefit from the many programs we support.  Every year we learn more and more how simple acts of kindness impact our families through our Community Partners and the work they do."

Board Vice President

"I Live United because I feel that United Way is the best example in our communities of our residents coming together to support the common good for our friends in need."

Sunflower Bank

"I Live United because we live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It's easy to say "It's not my child, not my community, not my problem." Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes."
