At United Way of Central Kansas, we see the good in our community each and every day. As we reflect back on the past year, we are beyond grateful for those that surround us.
To our amazing, active and engaged board. We appreciate your time, talents, input, and generosity. Your passion for the cause to Live United drives us to push harder and is an example for us to point to as we talk to community members about what UWCK does.
We are so lucky to have great volunteers who step up when we need them. From those who help us stuff envelopes for our annual mass mailing, to the booth workers at Reality U, and to each and every cramped finger who has helped to cut out flashcard holders for Literacy Kits, we appreciate you and could not do our jobs without you. This campaign, we had two couples step up to volunteer their time as Co-Chairs, Brad & Sarah Shirer and Chris & Cari Ringwald. We are grateful for your dedication and involvement in learning more about UWCK as well as our Community Partners.
And to each and every person who has made a donation to UWCK. It may have been a one-time donation, through your payroll, by coming to an event, or donating items to Stuff the Bus or Box of Love. Regardless of the method or the amount, the generosity of your heart is apparent.
