Sunflower Bank Donates to United Way of Central Kansas

Ellinwood, KS (November 16, 2020) – Sunflower Bank has donated $362.30 to United Way of Central Kansas as a result of customer participation in its Healthcare Professionals Program during 2019. Money is raised when healthcare professionals enrolled in the program use registered Sunflower Bank debit cards. Every time a registered card is used to make a purchase as a “credit” transaction, the Bank donates 5¢ to United Way of Central Kansas.

“Sunflower Bank is pleased to support United Way of Central Kansas and its important work to mobilize the community to improve education, income and health opportunities. Serving our community is our mission, which is why we partner with organizations to create possibility in the lives we touch and the communities we serve,” commented Becca Maxwell, Retail Service Manager at Sunflower Bank. “We also want to thank the healthcare professionals who helped raise the funds for the many ways they are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.”

Since the inception of Sunflower Bank’s Healthcare program in 2007, it has donated over $78,000 to philanthropies that provide healthcare-related services in its communities.
