Dress Down the Town Success!

Every dollar really can make a difference.  When our communities come together to make a small donation, the money really can add up.  The United Way of Central Kansas Jeans Day is a perfect example of this.  Nearly 40 businesses throughout Barton & Pawnee Counties participated in UWCK’s annual Dress Down the Town event on November 15th.  All the business and employees had to do was make a donation of $1.00 to UWCK to wear jeans to work that day and be be entered for a chance to win a pair of jeans donated by The Buckle.  More than 700 people in Hoisington, Ellinwood, Larned, and Great Bend wore jeans to work on the 15th and helped UWCK raise more than $1,000 this year.  On November 30th at 6:00 the finalists from each of the participating businesses will gather at The Buckle to see who the big winner is.  Participating businesses who will each have an employee represented in the final drawing for a FREE pair of jeans from The Buckle include:
